Well,I am a woman of a certain age. It's no secret that as we age, the body's processes can slow down. Our body already makes A. But, as our cell turnover slows, the production of A slows and the skin can begin to get thinner. Vitamin A, specifically Retinyl Palmitate; the A I use and sell is a bio available form of it. Our body knows how to use it efficiently bc our body makes Vitamin A. Retinyl Palmitate is a lipid soluble A. Our cells utilize it better because it's lipid or fat soluble.
I supplement it topically because that's where I work. Topical use of A also supports the production of elastin and collagen, by increasing cell metabolism and resulting in firmer, stronger skin. It smooths rough skin texture, softens lines and evens discoloration.
Renewing A also has kojic acid. Kojic acid is a naturally derived amino acid that inhibits the production of melanin. Why do we want to inhibit melanin? For clear even skin. And amino acids are necessary building blocks for producing healthy skin. Healthy glowing skin at any age is my goal!
